It seems like there are many people that don´t know how to open 2 or more Diablo instances.
So here´s a little Tutorial
What do you need:
2 or more Battle.Net Accounts
Windows Process Explorer
Step1:
Make a copy of your Diablo Installation folder for each instance you wanna open the same time.
Install Microsoft Process Explorer.
Step2:
Open the first Instance and get Diablo started.
Step3:
Open Windows Process Explorer as Administartor
Step4:
Go to "Find" -> Find Handle Or DLL and type in "Diablo"
Step5:
Look for “\Sessions\1\BaseNamedObjects\DiabloII Check for othzer Instances”, Right Click and Close Handle.
Step6:
Close Battle.Net App/Client, open your copy of D2R and run Launcher.exe
Battle.Net Client will start again und you can log in with your second Account.
For opening more instances you just have to kill the "Check fort Instances" Handle again after each started Instance.
Hope this could help.
Have fun
